A Day of Art and Elegance: Live Monogram Painting at Michael Kors Houston Galleria

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of joining the Michael Kors team for an in-store event, where I painted custom monograms on leather goods purchased by clients. The boutique was filled with excitement as guests selected their favorite pieces, from sleek handbags to classic wallets, and watched as each one was transformed into a one-of-a-kind work of art, while also enjoying the mocktails and great music by a DJ.

There’s something truly special when we are able to combine fashion and craftsmanship. Each personalized design was hand-painted with care, ensuring that each reflected Michael Kors’ unique brand style.

In-store activations like live art painting are more than a beautiful detail, they’re an opportunity to deepen brand loyalty and enhance the customer journey, and I always feel proud to join them in those efforts to create a greater community with their customers. It is truly exciting to me to think that customers leave not only with a beautiful product, but with a meaningful story behind it.
